方向介绍:磁性和拓扑是当前凝聚态物理研究中的两大重要研究领域,量子磁性和拓扑物态具有内在的紧密联系,会导致丰富的新奇量子效应和现象,包括量子自旋液体、各种磁性态(顺磁、抗磁、铁磁、反铁磁、亚铁磁、交错磁等)、量子霍尔效应、拓扑绝缘体、拓扑半金属、分数量子反常霍尔效应等。量子磁性和拓扑物态的研究极大地扩展了我们对物质相和相变的理解,超越了朗道对称性破缺的范式,为在凝聚态系统中“制造”和研究马约拉纳费米子、任意子等原本只存在于高能物理理论中的粒子提供了舞台,是当前凝聚态物理的巨大挑战和机遇,在拓扑量子计算、集成电路、航空航天等领域具有潜在应用价值。团队负责人胜献雷教授。
